Geological exploration work is carried out by a prospecting party. It includes prospecting, drilling and geochemical crews.
Prospecting crew
Type of work:
• mining operations on ditching, clearing and pits, accompanied by complex sampling of bedrocks and schlichomineralogical methods in loose sediments.
The drilling crew conducts confirmatory core drilling with D & B-10, 12, 30 hydroficated drilling rigs made in the Republic of Korea, up to 500-1000 m drilling depth, using removable core barrel complex with a double and triple core pipe (NQ3), with a high (90-100%) core recovery with a total drilling performance up to 1200-1300 m / machine / month.
In sections of medium complexity and moderate fracturing (VII-X category of rocks), the drilling rate per day with a two-shift operation on machines of this type is up to 60-90 m, in more difficult conditions – up to 31-50 m per day.
The main components of high performance drilling are:
• use of modern drilling equipment;
• equipping rigs with high-quality drilling tools;
• the use of chemicals;
• use of special rubber tanks for water and drilling mud, excluding digging sumps;
• ensuring the continuous operation of drilling rigs by the organization of support services, namely:
– assignment of water carriers to each drilling rig for the timely supply of water necessary for the preparation of drilling mud;
– vehicles for transportation of pipes and tools (pipe carrier brand D & B-10CR);
– constant supply of fuels and lubricants;
– creation of normal living conditions at the places of residence of the drilling personnel;
